Use a Bluetooth gamepad in the browser

Bluetooth pairing happens in device settings. Once paired, a supported controller can appear in the same dropdown as a wired one.

Technical references

A title screen usually means the console is running. Games often wait for Start rather than a click on the canvas.

The keyboard supplies all eight NES inputs for your own player. Your remote friend uses their own input device.

The browser reads controllers through the Gamepad API. Your operating system must recognise the device first.

A browser may wait for a physical button press before exposing a gamepad. System pairing alone does not guarantee page detection.

This build expects a standard browser gamepad layout: the bottom face button is NES A and the left face button is NES B.

NES directions are digital. A standard controller can provide them through its D-pad or left stick beyond a threshold.
